A DISASTER KIT
FOR YOUR CATS

With so many areas being plagued by torrential downpours, landslides, earthquakes and tornadoes, every cat owner should be prepared for the worst and keep a Disaster Kit on hand. The following items should be part of every basic kit.


• Copies of all documents for each cat (i.e. licenses, vaccination records and/or medications)
• One gallon of fresh water
• Pet first aid spray and gauze wraps
• A small bag of cat food
• A strong leash and collar that won't slip over your cat's head--preferably a harness
• Spare pet name tags
• a small bag of kitty litter and a litterpan

• A non-spill water dish
• An animal carrier (i.e. Vari Kennel)
• Favorite toys and treats
